This website is operated and maintained by me as a private person. This privacy policy, like any other, is to inform of whether, how, why and how long any data of visitors who interact with the site, are being stored.
Which data will be collected / stored ?

Thereby data will be transmitted from your browser to my server.

Most of these details are beeing evaluated by the CMS (WordPress) to prepare and optimize the content for your device.
In addition, the web server also writes data about your visit in the server logs. The server logs help me to detect and fix any problems with the website or the server and will be deleted automatically within 30 days.
What is stored ?
When you visit the site and simply consume the content, nothing is stored except for the data in the server logs. However, as soon as you leave a comment or fill out a contact form, the data that your browser (or only a part of it) and your comment / or your entries in the contact form are actively stored in the database and a cookie is also set to recognize you on your next visit. If you want to get rid of the cookie, you can find help in the documentation of your browser on how to find and delete existing cookies. Deleting the cookie alone does not delete the data that is stored in my database.
How long is stored, if stored?
If you leave a comment on my site, your data will be stored in the database without any time limit. If you don’t want your data to be stored anymore, please contact me via email so that I can delete your comment together with your data from the database.
If you contact me via contact form, this data will be sent to me via email and also stored there, without time limit.
But you must using Analytics, aren’t you?
No. I do not use any analytics services. In case it bothers me to figure out how many users are using this site, I just analyze the access.logs. Because, among many other things, that is what I do for a living.
